The Quarantine Pleasure Reads

 Hey Folks,

Two years of dodging Corona craze.. finally met its end in January 2022. This new year put an end to me escaping the virus. Atleast I could say, I was showered with the newest upgrade “Omicron”. Even when it wasn’t as sinful as the other variants, it still had the vigour to pin me down to the bed for days. The only insane reason I could still be happy about catching the flu was reading off my pending and much awaited set of books.

I am a complete bugger head for cliché romances which implies that I vouch for pretty happy endings( no tears..!). All the books which I read in a two week span had all to do with the characters walking hand in hand to their beautiful sunset. I adore how authors could fish out such beautiful and smooth writing when it comes to this genre. Coming back to the books, as there are quiet few, let me list em out.

1) Love Hypothesis.. A Bookatok Favourite.

2) Tokyo Ever After.. This has my heart.

3) Spanish Love Deception.. an Insta recommendation.

4) People we meet on a Vacation.. Warm coffee hug.

My two week quarantine was defined by these titles.

Love Hypoethesis and Spanish Love Deception has the essence of the fake dating troupe.. both of them have enlisted A credential male characters who are dreamy, do not belong to this world kinds. Love hypoethesis is setup in a STEM environment and kind of throws light to some of uneventful turn outs when a woman aka Olive tries to make space in a male-dominated world. Whereas, Spanish Love Deception showcases the plight one aka Catalina has to go through.. to walk in single to her  sister’s wedding.

Tokyo Ever After and People We Meet On A Vacation is nothing but a breeze through. Both are less complicated and pushes through mainstream idea of love. First being princess falling for her guard and the latter points out to best friends turned lovers. As these plots seems quiet familiar, it still has got a great vibe because of the stand out writing style.

In this sophisticated world of reality check books, I guess it’s okay to get lost in the cliché romance novels once in a while. Grab these books up if you are yearning for a well-deserved break.. Caffeine on the side is a great combo.

Stay Safe peeps!

Tata uh!

Regards,

A.
