How about some failed Magic?

Image
Hey Folks, It was a hectic week around for me. Now you will be thinking why….right? Yes, I just started of a small online store for art and office supply and it requires hell lot of work. So, basically I really didn’t have time to experience that me time… hence, no new write ups.  I had been to a book sale long back, basically they sold  “used books”. I am that person who likes fresh books; untouched ones. It gives me that vigor to read and therefore I shed lots of money to just lay hand on that beautiful hardcover (no, please don't say whatsoever the content is same). So when I had been to that sale, I saw a stack of my favourite author's books and the author was Cecelia Ahern . "PS I Love You" was probably first ever romantic read I have had in my life. Gerry and Holly were etched in my heart for a long time. After that I never really saw her books anywhere and online sites were also not so prevalent at that time.  I bought those books from the sale and stacked it ...

A "Healthy" Read

Hey Folks, I know for a fact that most of you will be social media freaks, if not, at least one or the other way socially connected. After the reel feature aired in Instagram, I got tired of the background music “And it went like”. Phew, it was so irritating to see one transformation after another . Now now, I am no expert in this area but yeah after devouring up Rujuta Diwekar’s Don’t Lose Your Mind, Lose Your Weight,  even the not so qualified layman will be able to identify what is crap and what is not. This book was a gift from my dear friend Anu. She probably gifted the same because of my relentl...

A Bookstagrammer Influence

Image
Hey Folks, Have you ever been overpowered by an instagram post? Gosh, I have been, that too multiple number of times and for a fact I am so intrigued by their way to influence through reels, posts and what not.  I am someone who’s definitely influenced by the bookstagrammers. How can one not fall prey for their book baits? Its so colorful and takes lots of effort to position and click aesthetic pictures of book covers; someone who loves reading (except my fellow kindle lovers) will understand the umpteen amount of drooling over those pretty hardcovers.’sigh’.  Now, am talking about this recent read of mine. Crescent City, House of Earth and Blood by Sarah J. Maas . The purchase of the same was due to these avid bookstagrammers. Sarah J . Maas is a celebrated author ( New York Times Bestselling Author)  , her fantasy books are one among the sought after ones. As this is my first read of hers, I was hooked to the book and definitely agreed to the hype all over her and the ...

The Introduction.

Hey Folks! At these trying times, it’s quite an overwhelming amount of pressure we are experiencing. Being someone who’s privileged to sit at home, its still difficult to process and accept the way things are going. It is this confused state of mind which pushed me forward to start writing a blog. This blog will be an outpour of getting back on track my love of reading and personal tit bits every now and then.  I have no clue as to how many of you will find my writing interesting but if you feel so please feel free to show your love through comments. Tata uh! Regards, A.
